Selecting a Turnlock quarter-turn fastener starts with choosing the correct receptacle. The best option depends on your panel design, mounting method, access to the rear side, required duty level and installation preference.
Start with the mounting method
The most common Turnlock receptacles are fixed with rivets. This usually requires access to the rear side of the panel so the receptacle can be installed correctly. Other options include threaded receptacles, square-hole receptacles, round-hole receptacles, side-mounted receptacles and weld-on receptacles.
Riveted or Screw-Mounted Turnlock Receptacles
These receptacles are commonly mounted with rivets or screws and are often used when the back of the panel is accessible during installation.


LMH Series Light Duty Receptacle
A light-duty receptacle option for simple Turnlock quarter-turn fastening applications.

MTHR Series Receptacles
Medium-duty receptacles for applications that require a stronger quarter-turn fastening solution.

HGRTL Series Receptacles

Threaded TurnLock Receptacles
Threaded receptacles are installed into a threaded hole and are often used where access to the rear side of the frame is limited.

MPP Series Threaded Receptacle
Requires an M12x1 thread and is typically installed in blind holes. A minimum thread depth of 23 mm is required.


Open MTH Threaded Receptacles
Open threaded receptacles for medium-duty MTH Series assemblies.


Closed MTH Threaded Receptacles
The closed body provides protection against dust. These receptacles are not airtight or watertight.
Receptacles for Square Panel Holes
These receptacles are designed for panels prepared with a square hole.

MTHRTEZZ Closed Type
The MTHRTEZZ closed type is closed against dust only. It is not air-tight or water-tight. It is used together with the MTHNZ nut.

MPP Series Medium Duty Receptacle
The MPPRZZ receptacle is used together with the MPPNZ nut. This option requires a round hole with a diameter of 12.3 mm.
Side-Mounted Turnlock Receptacles
Side-mounted receptacles are installed on the side of a panel and usually require only a hole in the panel.

A light-duty side-mounted receptacle for applications where this mounting style is preferred.
